I'm an artist who specializes in portraits of space. My primary medium is watercolor, and I also work in acrylics and pastels. After working in L.A. as a Hair and Make-up Artist for over twenty years, I moved to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Since 1999, I have studied under the incredibly talented faculty at Lake Tahoe Community College. My husband Geoff's interest in astronomy led me to explore space-based phenomena as subjects for my art. My technique has evolved from a love for abstract color. I create images with the elements of shape, color, and texture that I feel express the energy of the universe. Through my art, I hope to enable men and women to re-connect with themselves and the primal world around them, which has and will continue to exist for billions of years. Ultimately, we are all creatures of space.
